WHY IS A STYLING CREAM SO IMPORTANT?

Hi beautiful people! Hope everyone is having a great week so far. I am excited to chat with you because I constantly get questions about my hair routine so today I am going to give you some inside tips! I will be chatting about why styling cream is SO important when it comes to your daily routine and why I LOVE this one from Missio Hair so so much. WHO IS MISSIO HAIR?
So fun fact: I found Missio Hair about six months ago on Instagram and immediately fell in love because of their ADORABLE packaging (LOL) and their helpful videos but once I looked into who they were, I immediately wanted to learn more. The company actually started to help women emerging from human trafficking, which led them to create hair products with purpose and THAT is something I can stand behind. They have created stylist-designed and salon-tested hair products that serve as a vehicle to educate salons in victim identification and give to non-profit partners. Basically what I’m trying to say is… they have a heart of GOLD and have products that create real results!! One being my favorite… the styling cream!
WHY STYLING CREAM?
Styling cream is good for anyone with any hair type! Hairstyles are always changing so having a versatile product is KEY when it comes to hair care. Right now, longer more texturized hair is in and a styling cream is like the best friend you never knew you needed. It’s basically a low hold, low shine type of product, that lets your natural hair come through without all the frizz and puffiness. Can I get an AMEN?! Not to mention it acts as a heat protectant while adding volume and LOTS of shine!
WHAT’S SO GREAT ABOUT MISSIO’S STYLING CREAM?
When I first got this product I was absolutely drawn to the scent! If you imagine heaven and what it smells like, you’d imagine this product. Not kidding! It has hints of Vanilla and Sandalwood (which is my fav scent of all time) with a mix of citrus! SO. GOOD. andddd it’s only $26!! But what I love most about this product is the ingredients! Ever since I’ve been working in skincare as my full time job, ingredients have a whole different meaning to me when it comes to beauty products! So here’s a list of some of my favs and why:
Organic Aloe Leaf Juice - rich in vitamins, moisturizes and soothes tremendously
Soybean Seed Extract - nourishes, smooths and conditions hair (KEY for my dry hair)
Coconut, Avocado, Jojoba and Sunflower Seed Oil, Shea Butter - supports healthy hair growth and adds intense moisture and shine!! (not kidding about the shine)
Antioxidant-Rich Fruit Extract Blend - protects hair from breaking down, clarify, strengthen, rejuvenate and hydrate hair. (if your hair breaks off easy at the ends look for this in a product!!)
HOW TO DO I USE STYLING CREAM?
The beauty of styling cream is there is a few ways to use it, depending on your hair type! I use it more as a blow dry cream where I apply a dime sized amount after I get out of the shower and work it in. (A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY so don’t get too crazy with this stuff or your hair will be greasy!!) Once you work it in mid-length to ends, brush it out and blow dry away!!
You can also use it as a leave in curl cream for all my curly haired friends out there! Apply the same dime sized amount into damp hair but instead of brushing, add it in with a scrunching motion! Once you have it scrunched in, use a diffuser to blow dry and prepare to be BLOWN away! :) <— see what I did there?! LOL
