FALL MAKEUP ESSENTIALS

bronze fall makeup

Hey girl! Happy October. I know I’ve been a little MIA from here but I am back and SO SO excited to share what I’ve been working on! If you follow me on Instagram then you know I recently went to the Sephora event at The Fashion Mall at Keystone and got some new goodies to add to my routine. I put them to the test last week to see if they are really worth it and created an elevated, more dramatic, fall makeup look today! I incorporated some things that I already had in my makeup bag so I will link those too as well as similar ones if they’re not in stock. If you’re interested to see how I created this makeup look then just keep on reading! 😊

First thing I got that I was so excited about was the Hourglass Mineral Primer Mini. When the stylist at the store recommended this product, I almost had a heart attack because the price!! A full size of this guy is $75… YES I about died too but one thing I love about Sephora is they always have a mini option! The mini is only $19 and it will last me for-ev-er because you only need a tiny bit. The main reason I wanted to try this primer is because of the texture! It was unlike anything I’ve ever tried because it’s SO silky and applies so evenly once you put it on. It also has SPF 15 in it so you know I was SOLD! Apply this before your foundation and you’ll never look back.

Heading into foundation! If you’ve been following me for a while you know I will never buy another foundation other than the NARS Sheer Glow. Guys… I got this foundation just about a year ago and I JUST now had to restock. I know it’s a little pricey ($47) but having one foundation for an entire year at that price is totally worth it! It is so creamy and lightweight, sometimes I forget that I’m even wearing it to be honest. Want to hear the best part about it? It is buildable so if you want a medium coverage one day and a full coverage the next, you can build this product onto the skin without feeling like it’s cakey or heavy. This is my holy grail!

Next is my favorite purchase of the day, BADgal BANG! Volumizing Mascara from Benefit Cosmetics. I got this as a sample in my Birchbox a couple months ago and immediately feel in love so when I ran out, I knew I had to get the full size. I get so so SO many questions in my Instagram messages from people asking what mascara I’m wearing when I wear this in my stories. It really does give you extreme volume without feeling too dry or clumpy. (Ew, I hate that word!) It comes in a mini size too if you want to try it out before you buy the full size! Seriously makes me feel like I got lash extensions when I apply this! 😊

I always say “Remember, you don't need to be a model to look and feel amazing nor do you have to spend big bucks to do so. All you need is a little confidence and a killer shade of lipstick!” because it’s so true!! FUN FACT: I was introduced to this lipstick by a local MUA (shout out @maggie.bardol) at a photoshoot for work and immediately fell in LOVE. She had it on blondes, brunettes, pale skin, dark skin and everyone looked absolutely stunning in it! It is super lightweight but packed with pigment and doesn’t leave your lips crusty. (Ew, also hate that word too!) It’s the NARS Powermatte Lip Pigment and I’m wearing the color American Woman!

That’s it for all my recent products I got at Sephora to add to my fall makeup routine! I’m thinking about doing tutorial on IGTV to walk you through step by step on how I created this elevated fall look. Comment below and let me know if that’s something you’d find helpful and I will be sure to do that for you!
