bronze makeup look for fall

It’s here, it’s here, it’s finally here!!!! I’m talking FALL ya’ll!!! That sounded so midwest of me to say (LOL) but I am so so excited to bust out my sweaters and booties and head to the nearest pumpkin patch to eat hot apple pie with ice cream. Are you drooling yet because I am?! But before I clog your IG feed with all that good stuff, I wanted to chat fall beauty today because sometimes I struggle with this. If you live in Indiana, you know one day it can be 90 degrees and the next can be 60 when transiting into the new season. My skin doesn’t know how to handle it and personally neither do I! Today I’m sharing the perfect bronze makeup look for transitioning into fall so if this is something you’re interested in then just keep on reading!

First let’s start with foundation. My go to this season is the it Cosmetics CC Cream in the shade Medium. This is the best CC cream I have ever used, like ever… It naturally evens out your skin tone while keeping it light and feeling like you’re not wearing anything at all. Like I said, I love to be outside so the fact that this little guy has SPF 50 in it had me hooked. You may be asking Amara, why do you care about wearing SPF in the fall? I promise I’m not crazy but even though you’re not directly in the sun, those rays are still penetrating your skin and affecting more than you think. Pump a dot on the back of your hand, put a few dots all over and blend with the it Cosmetics Airbrush Buffing Foundation Brush #110. VOILA! *side note: this brush is my absolute fav in my makeup bag*

Next is bronzer, blush and highlight and I am SO excited to tell you about this little palette that has completely changed the game for me. The Confidence in Your Glow palette is a bronzer, blush and higher all in one! What? YAS girl, all in one. It has so much pigmentation and it is so easy to apply. Simply take your bronzer brush (I use the powder brush from Real Techniques), sweep it across your palette and apply anywhere you apply bronzer. I like to do my cheek bones, forehead, temples and jaw line. It gives a natural sun kissed glow all over and you’re done in less than 30 seconds!!

Now onto eyes and I’m going to let you in on a little secret. When I’m in a hurry or being lazy (which is more often than not) I apply my bronzer as my eyeshadow and you’d never know the difference! Since the Confidence in Your Glow palette has 3 colors to choose from, the possibilities are endless! I usually apply the bronzer to my lid and take my pinky finger, dip it on the highlighter and dot it onto the inner corner of my eye to make it pop! Best kept secret so don’t say I never told you anything :) If you want to add an extra pop of highlight, take a highlighter pencil and add small stokes as your top eyeliner!! It brightens your eyes and makes them stand out even more.

Finally onto my favorite thing which is lipstick. To no surprise, I apply the Burt’s Bees lipstick in the shade suede splash. I say to no surprise because I CONSTANTLY talk about this product because it is my favorite lipstick ever made and I am obsessed. It is so moisturizing and the color is stunning. It’s the perfect year round shade but it’s so so pretty with this bronze look!

There ya have it! My bronze makeup routine for transitioning into fall. :) I know this post seemed a little long but I am just so excited about these products as they are my favorites in my makeup bag right now! Just want to be as helpful as possible. This look takes me under 10 minutes to create so I have no doubt that you will love it too!!
