SIMPLE & SWEET VALENTINE'S DAY MAKEUP

SIMPLE VALENTINE'S DAY MAKEUP

Hi babes, happy Valentine’s Day week! I’ve had so much fun creating TONS of Valentine’s Day inspo this month so if you missed my Galentine’s Day Gift Guide or Valentine’s Outfits for Any Occasion be sure to check those out first!! I am pretty pumped for todays post because I think so many of you will find it helpful and be shocked to realize how easy it is. With being a minimal makeup kind of girl, I really wanted to create a look that would still be very natural and glowy but add a little something extra to feel special! So today, I’m showing you a super simple way to create a sweet and glowy makeup look for whatever your Valentine’s Day plans are. Don’t feel like you need to go out and buy this $19 palette if it’s not in your budget, but find similar colors you already use in your makeup bag to make this look your own! I just want to provide easy tips and inspiration so I broke it down and made it super easy to recreate. Now let’s show you how I created this Valentine’s Day eye look… :)

HOW TO USE THE PRO TO GO PALETTE

So the star in today’s look is this $19 Tartiest Pro To Go Palette from Tarte! I love it because it has the neutral shades that will warm up the face but the pop of purple to make it a little more fun and special. Just follow these 4 simple steps to create this soft but sweet eye look:

  1. Apply the color DRIVE over your entire lid. It gives the perfect neutral base to even out any discoloration and gives your eye an even starting point!

  2. Next go in with the color CRISP and apply it to the crease of your eye. This adds a little warmth to the look and gives the eye more dimension!

  3. Now is time for the fun stuff, take the color DOMINATE and apply that to your outer corner or sometimes called the outer v! Be sure to blend this in with the color you just applied to your crease to add more of a soft feel. This adds such a fun pop to the eye and is still in the warm color family! *note if this shimmery purple is too much for you, use the color BOSS to add more of a neutral look*

  4. Lastly, go ahead and use your flat brush to apply HYPE to the inner corner of your eye. This makes your eye look brighter and more open! I do this trick in my everyday makeup and it makes a huge difference!! If you have time, apply this color under your brown bone to define your brows and create a bold look!
