Can you believe Easter Sunday is this weekend?! I feel like it snuck up so fast without me even realizing it. Easter is one of those holidays that I never really know what to wear. I go from church to brunch to dinners to sneaking in the egg hunts and then passing out on the couch. Just because I'm 23 doesn't mean I can't throw an elbow at my 10 year old cousin for the golden egg that has a whopping $10 in it? That's Chipotle money kids!! But no matter what I do, I want to dress appropriately but still feel like me if that makes sense? Jesus likes style too ya'll!

If pink frilly dresses aren't your thing don't worry, they're not mine either. When figuring out what to wear,  all I see is floral dress after floral dress and I just thought BLEH. That's so original. Groundbreaking. I wanted to wear something that not only is perfect for Easter Sunday but perfect for all spring long. I may be crazy but I actually want to wear it again ;)

When I saw this little yellow top I knew I just had to have it! Yellow is my JAM lately and I feel like it's the perfect amount of pop to a spring outfit. I loved not only the color but the details are so fun and make it like nothing else I have in my closet. The off the shoulder band is crochet and it adds the perfect amount of femininity to the spring look. The sleeves are more of a balloon sleeve so it adds a little bit of drama to the softness! My favorite part about the shirt is probably the subtle "dots" all over the shirt. The top is super flowy so I decided to tie a little knot in the bottom to give me more shape.

I grabbed these jeans to try on while I was at Dottie Couture Boutique and I quickly regretted it because as soon as I put them on I was obsessed. They are EXTREMELY stretchy, comfortable, and it feels like you're wearing sweatpants! I feel like everyone needs great pair of dark denim with no holes or distress so they're perfect for family gatherings. AKA: your Aunt Lorie won't ask if "you really bought your jeans like that" and you can finally breathe again.

As for accessories, these earrings are totally out of my comfort zone but they're my new favorite. The tassels mixed with the gold look so FUN and pretty. They look big and heavy but they are extremely lightweight (and that's coming from a girl with sensitive ears). I went with my brown, stitched crossbody and my favorite brown Jeffery Campbell lace up booties to keep the spring vibes going. TIP ALERT: some of you are probably thinking why would she pay so much for shoes? BUT I HAVE A SECRET. Free People hosts a few sample sales throughout the year and they have 50% off shoes (yes I said 50% off) and that's where I got these bad boys!
