IS A REBECCA MINKOFF PURSE WORTH THE MONEY?

Hi beautiful people! I hope everyone is having great week so far and happy almost Friday. As many of you have probably noticed, I carry the same bag in almost every single one of my Instagrams. What drew me to this bag in the first place was the resemblance and similarities to a Chanel bag. The structure, quilting, back flap it’s basically the same concept but at a waaaay cheaper price. #winning I have gotten multiple DM’s from you asking me questions about my purse and if it is really worth the money or not! So today, I’m giving you my 100%, true and honest opinion on this Rebecca Minkoff Small Love Leather Crossbody Bag.
WHAT I LOVE
Versatility: I love all the ways I can wear this thing. You can wear this bag for a day out shopping or a night out on the town with your friends. I’m one of those girls who wears black on black just about everyday so I knew this was the one for me
Real leather: This bag is made up of real leather so it is incredibly soft to the touch. With this being a structured bag and made of real leather, it is going to soften and generally wear overtime so don’t be surprised when the shape softens. I actually don’t mind that because I feel like it makes the bag look more natural and not so stiff.
Design: The chevron pattern mixed with the leather material is was really caught my eye. The combination is so edgy yet so casual without being over the top. I love the fact that is it structured it feel like it gives it such an elevated vibe. One of my favorite things about this is the strap: the chain is so fun and the fact that there is a leather strap that goes on your shoulder saves your hair from being pulled out. It’s the little things in life that make the world of a difference! The back has a little flap that you can easily put your phone, train card, loose change, etc so you can access it without having to open the kiss and lock closure every time.
WHAT I’D BE CAUTIOUS ABOUT
Black Hardware: Since I wear black on black 95% of the time I was really excited about the black hardware on this bad boy. It looks really sleek but don’t be fooled… the paint chips SUPER easy and leaves a tarnish look to the hardware. The only place this really happens is on the lock closure which caught me by surprise. For the price of this bag I would really hope that it wouldn’t chip so easily. Very frustrating! So if you’re someone who is a perfectionist the black hardware isn't for you but don't worry there are other hardware colors to choose from!
Size: This purse comes in three different sizes: small, regular and jumbo. I have the small size and it’s the perfect size to go out in! I can fit my small wallet, phone, lipsticks, and keys. If you’re someone who likes a little bit more room I think I would get a bigger size but be cautious… bigger size equals more money!
IS IT ACTUALLY WORTH THE MONEY?
Yes! This is by far my favorite bag I’ve ever had because of all the reasons above. The only downfall for me is the black hardware but I’m not really a perfectionist so I can get past that. If you’ve been eyeballing this Rebecca Minkoff I say go for it sister!
