CURRENTLY CRUSHING ON: STARS

If you’re apart of my email tribe you know that I was sharing an item that I included in last weeks post: Weekend Steals and Deals. I asked if you could guess what it was, and a few of you guessed right!! Ya’ll are SMART.

I don’t know about anyone else, but I am head over heels for the whole idea of stars and the fact that they are so in right now. I mean, they are everywhere from tops to pants and now they’ve made their way to my shoes. Usually I’m a little hesitant when it comes to prints but there is just something about these that really got me starry eyed. Punny!

When I saw these puppies I knew immediately I had to get them because I started thinking of all the ways I could style them. I think they would be perfect to spice up a white t-shirt and a pair of jeans and take it from basic to bold. Maybe even pair them with joggers and a cropped sweatshirt if you’re #sportyspice. 

I love mixing old with new so I grabbed this black midi dress and my favorite distressed denim jacket to head out to my new favorite coffee shop, Sure Shot Coffee. I got both of these pieces years ago but I’ve linked similar ones below around the same price points. The black dress is so comfortable and very basic but with the printed shoe I felt like it made it really made the outfit pop!

These shoes do come in black as well and I usually would go for the black ones (guilty) but I made myself stray from my old habits and I decided to get the taupe! Mostly because I felt like they could be worn in so many different ways. More importantly, I was lovvvving the price tag! These shoes were originally $139.95 and I got them on SALE for $49.98. I was just as shocked as you are! If you’re loving these as much as I do then you better act quick because I have a feeling they won’t be here much longer!
