APRIL FAVORITES
Welcome back to my monthly series favorites post where on the first of every month, I round up my favorite items from the previous month! I try to round up items that I reached for a lot or maybe even my favorite random Amazon purchases. I thought this could be an easy way to have all of my favorite items in one spot. I’m narrowing down my top items and linking everything throughout this post and chatting a little bit about each one! I always like to share extra tips that might be helpful before trying out yourself like the fit of an item or a beauty hack. :) Let’s see my top favorites from the month of April!
RUCHED ONE SHOULDER TANK
The SOFTEST tank I own, hands down. It is extremely stretchy and comfortable to wear! I wore this with jeans and layered my favorite gold necklaces on my birthday and loved it. When the weather warms up, throw on a pair of jean shorts and brown sandals for an easy, breezy, summer look. I want this in more colors! It runs TTS. I’m wearing my true size, medium.
KNOTTED SLIDE SANDALS
These have been on my spring wish list and I just placed an order for these this week so I haven’t gotten them in yet but I am so excited! I LOVE Old Navy sandals. They are always on trend, inexpensive, and come in multiple colors. I love the taupe brown color since I can wear them with any color or pattern this summer! The knot detail is super cute and makes them a little different. They also come in leopard, black, and white eyelet! I got my true size, 6.
TIE DYE DRESS
This dress is probably my favorite thing in my closet right now! The blues in this dress are so pretty yet subtle. Sometimes tie dye can be “in your face” but I think this is the perfect balance of color and style. The cowl neck detail is my favorite part of the dress! So fun, flirty, and flattering. I got my true size, medium, and it fits great! If you have wider hips (like me), I would recommend pairing a belt with this dress to give you waist definition and create shape. DEEP PORE CLEANSING MASK
If you’ve been following me for a while you know my obsession with Kiehl’s! They are one of my all time favorite skincare brands and they have the best face masks. I love that this one is targeted for your pores and gets all the gunk out of them. I have been using this once a week and my skin has honestly never looked better! A little goes a long way so this will last a long time. Read more on my skincare routine!
CACTUS WALL PRINTS
If you are looking to spruce up your home decor without a huge price tag, these are it! These cactus wall prints come in a set of two and are perfect to hang in your office, bedroom, or add to your desk decor. DRY CONDITIONER
I know what you’re thinking… what the heck is a dry conditioner? A lot of us love to apply heat to our second day hair whether it’s curling or using a flat iron to give it a little refresh. I love to spray this all over my hair before I restyle to help detangle, restore moisture, and add shine. It also has UV and thermal protection to help protect against heat damage from styling and color fade from the sun! You can see my entire hair routine HERE!
BLUE LIGHT GLASSES
If you are someone who is constantly working on your computer or addicted to your phone, these are for you! Blue light lenses help protect your eyes by blocking harmful rays from digital devices. They also help to prevent headaches and get a better nights sleep. This pair I have from DIFF Eyewear is my all time favorite pair! I love the colors and the shape is extremely flattering. High quality and are available in prescription, non-rx, and readers!
COLOR THERAPY TOP COAT
The BEST top coat nail polish I have ever used! Since we are in quarantine, I’ve had to keep up with my nails and paint them at home. This top coat not only locks in your polish and helps to prevent chips but it’s extremely hydrating! Do you ever feel like top coat leaves your cuticles hard and crusty (I hate that word)? This one is made with argon oil so it almost feels like you have cuticle oil on your nails.
NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREAM
Looking for a nude lipstick for the summer that is super cheap but still looks good? This is IT! I’ve been using this matte cream in the shade “Stockholm” since college and it is still my go to. It is super creamy, soft, and gives the best natural color. If you are wearing it in the day, one coat is perfect, but if you are going out for a date night or something, go with two coats. It is less than $7 and will change your life!
NYX LIP LINER
This is the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream’s best friend. If you are new to the lip liner game or you don’t wear it often, this is for you! I use the shade “Natural” and it really is the most natural liner I’ve ever used. Gives a slight definition to the lips without making them look crazy. I like to wear this liner with ALL of my lipsticks since it is so universal. For less than $5 you can take your lipstick up a notch? No brainer.
SUPER SOFT RELAXED SHORT
I have been living in these relaxed soft loungewear shorts this month. They live up to their name and really are the softest shorts I own! I will usually throw a tee over them or a bodysuit to wear around the house! I’m wearing my true size, medium, and would definitely order them in more colors.
BOOTY BAND
Since starting quarantine, this booty band has been one of my most used workout items! It takes your workouts up a notch and provides resistance to sculpt and lift your legs and booty.
