NATURAL GLAM SMOKEY EYE TUTORIAL
With the holidays coming up, I always start thinking about not only outfit ideas but makeup ideas too! I feel like this is the time of year where I still like to wear my natural, bronze makeup but take it up a notch. I’ve been calling this natural or soft glam haha because I still want to look like myself but with an extra touch! Today I’m sharing exactly how to create a natural smokey eye, perfect for all your plans this holiday season. I also created a IGTV video showing you exactly how to apply it so I will link it as well as the products below.
HOW TO CREATE THE LOOK
Apply a shimmer neutral color on the lid of the eye. In this palette, it is a gray/nude shimmer.
Apply a matte neutral brown in the crease of the eye. This softens up the eye and adds dimension.
Use a blending brush on the crease to evenly blend the two colors together. Take the brush a little over your crease to make sure everything is even! I like to use this brush from Morphe.
Use your finger and use a shimmer pink/nude to pat on the center of your eyelid. Great way to add a touch of glam without over doing it!
Use the flat side of your brush and select a light beige or gold color and apply on the inner corner of the eye! This gives the illusion of your eyes being more awake and adds another touch of glam. Really makes the eye pop! Don’t forget to blend up to crease to blend the colors!
Take the same color you used for step 4 and apply it on the lower lash line! This gives the smokey look but keeps it subtle.
Add a brown liner on your lower lash line to give it more definition! Top it off with mascara and a mauve lip you’re out to the door :)
