SUMMER DATE NIGHT OUTFIT IDEAS
Hey girl! Hope you’re having a great week so far. I’ve been traveling for work all week so I am excited to get home and go out to dinner with Aaron! Anyone else look forward to date night with their person? Swear it makes the week go by faster haha :) Speaking of date night, this has been one of my most requested posts to do!! You guys always ask me… what the heck am I supposed to wear?! So if this is you.. I FEEL YOU GIRL. Today, I am going give you some serious summer date night outfit ideas for all your plans. FUN & FLIRTY
I was trying to think of a word to describe this outfit and the only thing I could think of is flirty! Haha this dress is a couple seasons old so I will link similar ones below but I STILL find myself reaching for it. The smock detailing at the top is so flattering, especially if you are bustier, it fits super well. In combination with the A-line style is breathable and flowy for those hot summer days. I dressed it up a bit with wedges, jean jacket and this fun bag! You can easily lose the jacket and dress it down with sandals or sneakers for a more casual look!
CASUAL & CHIC
This is one of my FAVORITE summer date night looks! Aaron and I love to go to new restaurants and bars in the area so having an option that’s trendy but still casual is key for me. I am loving printed kimonos this season as they’re so easy to throw over a plain off the shoulder top and your go to pair of boyfriend jeans! I love a good heel so I dressed it up a bit with these gray mules but I have worn this with my $12 brown Old Navy sandals when I want something more comfortable. LAID BACK & LOVABLE
if you know Aaron and I, we love to try hop around different breweries in Indy so having a classic casual outfit is much needed when I’m in a hurry. I know I’ve chatted about these shorts over on my Instagram but I just can’t say enough good things about them!! They are a “tom girl” fit so they aren’t super tight on my legs which I LOVE! They don’t have a lot of stretch so I sized up for more of a looser fit. I easily paired it with a balloon sleeve, long sleeve top and my platform sandals. Easy, breezy and a summer staple!
