HOW TO COME OUT OF THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE UNDER $200
Hi chicas! Did you know there is a HUGE Nordstrom Sale going on?! I know right… no one has talked about it, it’s brand new info. Just kidding! That’s probably ALL you’re seeing on Instagram right now and you may even be thinking, “Oh no… not another post about this.” Well girl, I promise I’m not here to waste your time and tell you I loved everything only to spend $500+ dollars because I didn’t! Don’t get me wrong, I LOVED the pieces that I got but if feel like a lot of people who are talking about this sale seemed to have spent a boat load of money. Ain’t nobody got time for dat, am I right? I’m here to share my secrets on how I got out of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale under $200!
FUN FACT: I used to work at Nordstrom (in Designer + Kidswear) and have spent countless hours seeing the employee side of this sale. It’s a LOT of work people!! It’s crazy to see it from the other side (not working it) because I just have such an appreciation for the employees. I had an appointment with my girl Drew (@yazmindavis) and I sent her my wish list before I arrived so she could pull the items for me but little did I know, I wouldn’t buy ANY of it. Seriously… not one thing! A lot of things I wanted are already sold out or I didn't like them when I tried it on but I am SO thankful for her because she set aside things she thought I’d like and introduced me to some of my favorite new pieces! If you’re an Indy girl, you NEED to shop with her. It doesn’t even have to be anything formal like an appointment but if you’re stopping in the store be sure to ask for her! She is so fun to shop with and really takes the time to hear what you’re looking for and show you the best options!
So some of you may be thinking, what is so great about this sale that it’s FLOODING my Instagram? Well, usually items that go on sale are pieces that didn’t sell well and they’re trying to get rid of them. The Anniversary Sale is opposite! They have brand NEW fall merchandise up to 40% off. Honestly, it feels crazy trying on sweaters in July but it is so worth it because of their selection. I’m talking GOOD brands guys… Madewell, Free People, Rebecca Minkoff, Topshop, etc. It’s only open for Nordstrom card holders but goes live to the public this Friday (August 20th) so get ready!! Enough about the sale… let’s just show you what I got for under $200!!
