Welcome to my monthly series favorites post where on the first of every month, I round up my favorite items from the previous month! It could be an item I wore a lot or maybe a random Amazon purchase that I just can’t get enough of. I thought this could be an easy way to round up all my go to items in one spot for you. I’m hand selecting my top items and linking everything throughout this post and chatting a little bit about each one! Maybe sharing the fit of an item or any tips that might be helpful before trying it out yourself. :) Here are the items I couldn’t get enough of in March!
FLOSS LIP GLOSS
I think I found the holy grail of lip gloss. It’s not sticky, glittery or thick like most lip glosses! It is super hydrating and is clear in color so you can wear it by itself or layer it over your favorite lipstick shade. Not to mention it smells AMAZING!
FUZZY SLIPPERS
Now that I have been working from home for about 2 weeks now (thanks Corona) these are my new everyday slippers! :) They are super fuzzy, soft and surprisingly well-made since they are an Amazon find. I love the neutral colors in them and the fact that they are a sandal so they don’t make my feet get sweaty. Nothing is worse than wearing slippers and feeling like your feet are on fire!
SILKY COWL NECK TOP
This is the first top I am going to wear when we are allowed to go out into the world again! I can’t tell you how much I love this top. It is so silky and comfortable to wear, you’ll forget that you’re not wearing pajamas! It’s a really pretty mauve/pink color with a slight navy print so you can wear it with blue jeans. The cowl neck is my absolute favorite part about this piece! It’s simple, elegant and gives a flirty look without being revealing. If you are looking forward to date nights, bridal showers, and bachelorette parties after this… this top is IT! Wearing my normal size (medium).
RAZOR BACK WORKOUT TANK
I’ve been wearing this workout tank non-stop since I got it! It has a super stretchy wicking material so it absorbs sweat and doesn’t leave you feeling uncomfortable. I LOVE the high neckline so it keeps the girls nice and snug but the best part is the straps are adjustable! It does have a slight crop to it but it hits perfectly above high waisted leggings so your stomach won’t show. I sized up to a large because I was nervous it was going to be too tight in the chest and I should’ve done my true size. I’m still going to keep it because it’s not that bad but if it order this in another color I will do my usual medium!
DIFF AVIATOR SUNGLASSES
If you follow me on IG (@amarakay) you know how obsessed I am with these aviator sunglasses! They are very-well made for the affordable price point (which you know I love) and they are extremely sturdy. I wore them on a 6 mile run the other day and they didn’t slip or fall off my nose once! They come in a couple different colors but I am wearing the “gunmetal” shade. BROOKS RUNNING SHOES
My lower back was hurting SO badly every time I went to Orange Theory and one of the coaches asked me when the last time I got new shoes was? Well… it’d been awhile so I bought these and they are hands down the best workout shoes I’ve ever owned. I’ve always an Adidas girl when it came to running shoes but now I see what the Brooks hype is about! They are extremely supportive, have the perfect about of cushion but stiffness to last throughout your entire workout. They run true to size. Trust me on this, they are worth every single penny!
JESUS CALLING DEVOTIONAL
I had been looking for a daily devotional book for a couple months but I wanted something very specific. I wanted it to be short so I could really dive into the message but also something I could understand. I wanted to read as if God was speaking directly to me and this devotional is just that! Each day has a new, one page, message speaking on different messages within the Bible, breaking them down into everyday terms. Highly suggest!
SGX DRY TOUCH DRY SHAMPOO
Picked this dry shampoo up on a whim because I was in desperate need and this is actually really good! Doesn’t leave the white residue in your hair and it smells AMAZING. Great affordable option!
TIE DYE TOP
If there is only one thing you take away from my March favorites, this tie dye top is it! Honestly, I wear this so much that Aaron asked me the other day if I’m ever going to wear my other clothes again? Haha :) It is SO soft and comfy but the best part is that it’s extremely lightweight! Perfect to wear now as we are working from home and staying in more and then we we break out of quarantine and want to wear it with some denim shorts and sandals. I’m wearing my true size (medium)!
RAW SUGAR HAND SOAP
Who knew that I could love hand soap so much? :) I was at the grocery last week and needed to pick up more hand soap so I grabbed this Raw Sugar hand soap that was made with almond milk, agave, and oatmeal. It is amazing! It’s made for sensitive skin so it is extremely gentle and smells absolutely incredible. Next time you’re at the store, grab one of these! You won’t regret it.
